What the manufacturer says
Advantages:
- The mouthpiece consists of a special, non-toxic material which can be optimally adapted to the individual denture structure.
- An optimally fitting mouthpiece means less strain on the jaw and significantly increased comfort.
- Smooth distribution of the biting force for optimal hold.
Instructions:
- Identify the upper side of the mouthpiece - marked with the word "UP".
- Immerse the entire mouthpiece in 95°C hot water and leave it there for 35 seconds (too long immersion can deform the meterial).
- Shake the remaining water off the mouthpiece and allow to cool for 5 seconds. Now place the mouthpiece carefully with the UP side up in your mouth and bite hard. Leave the mouthpiece in your mouth for about 30-40 seconds. Suck to achieve the optimal fit.
ATTENTION: Too long heating or missing cooling can lead to scalding!
- Now cool the mouthpiece with cold water and test the fit. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
- Now remove all unneeded parts before mounting the mouthpiece on your second step. Pay attention to the marking "UP".
Keep all spare parts in a safe place for future reference.
