TDI Advanced Gas Blender
In the TDI Gas Blender course you will learn the information and skills necessary to make trimix mixes.
Prerequisite:
- 18 years old
Course content:
- Responsibility of the gas mixer
- Breathing gases during diving: Air, oxygen, nitrogen, helium
- Oxygen treatment: oxygen hazards, causes and prevention of oxygen fires, oxygen system design, local regulations for gas mixing and handling
- Gas production equipment: compressors, cylinders, filter systems, analogue pressure gauges
- Mixing techniques, mixing systems, partial pressure Mixing calculations
- Gas analysis: methods, analytical equipment
- Immersion bottle treatment and bottle marking
The course price includes the certification costs. The cost of a personal textbook is to be borne by the Student.
