The metal - dry zip, the proven classic.
Solid metal teeth pay off and press the sealing lips securely together.
The zipper needs regular care with the (bee) wax crayon which makes it easy to move and holds it...
The adhesives, cleaners, sealants necessary for the assembly you can find in our store as well.
Length:
The given length indicates the length of the visible chain, i.e. the distance between the lower and the upper stopper in cm. The total length / installation length is 4 cm more in each case.
Available lengths are:
chain length approx. 76 cm - installation length approx. 80 cm
chain length approx. 80 cm - installation length approx. 85 cm
chain length ca. 85 cm - installation length ca. 89 cm
chain length ca. 90 cm - installation length ca. 94 cm

What do I glue the zip with?
There is a lot of information on the networks about what people have tried and where. Sometimes with more, sometimes with less success. Be careful, some glues attack the material.
We recommend (and use in our workshop) the 2K adhesive from UNITEC Helmsdorf, HELASTOPAKT 2K with hardener RFE. As a cleaning agent we use LÖSIT MEK from the same company.
