Manufacturer's care instructions:
To maintain the properties, size and fit of the glove, it is important to follow the care instructions on the product.
Among other things, this means that the gloves should not be washed or machine-dried.
If the gloves get wet, for example due to a leaking dry dipping glove, the gloves should be laid out on a towel and allowed to dry slowly at room temperature. The gloves must not be dried with added heat, such as on a radiator or in a tumble dryer, as they will shrink. This happens because the fibers lose their structure when they get wet and contract when they dry, becoming re-entangled in the knitted fabric.
The gloves are milled in the production process and the fibers are additionally compacted as a result. This is why the shrinkage effect is stronger here than you might expect from a thin wool sweater or similar.
